Marking the start of the most magical time of year
Join us on Saturday, 18 November as we mark the start of the most magical time of year with the Chelsea Christmas Lights Switch-On.
From midday, enjoy continual performances across the area and on stage at Duke of York Square, a visit from Father Christmas and his reindeer, a Christmas market and plenty of tempting offers from your favourite brands.
At 5pm, Santa will take to the stage with his 'Special Helper' - a local child in need of a treat - to light up the neighbourhood culminating in fireworks, a light show and, if you're lucky, a dusting of fresh snow!

Book your tickets for Santa's Grotto for both your children and four-legged friends!
This Christmas, treat your little ones to an early visit with Santa, and book your tickets to Peter Jones’ Santa’s Grotto, open between 24 November – 24 December.
Embark on an exciting adventure with your children as they work their way through this interactive grotto experience (with the help of Santa’s mischievous little helpers). Can they crack the code and unlock the magical door to meet Santa?
Once they’ve successfully completed their mission, they’ll have their photo taken with Santa and receive a very special gift too.
And that’s not at all – Peter Jones haven’t forgotten about your four-legged friends!
Dogs that are on the nice list are welcome to come along to a special Santa Paws session to meet Santa and have their picture taken with him. (They might even find he has a special gift for them too!)
Tickets are £22 per child and per dog (including a toy) and an additional £2.20 per accompanying adult. Prices include booking fees.
